Holiday Mini Sessions | North Carolina Family Photographer

. DATE EXTENSION FOR SESSIONS .

It's ALMOST that time of year and I've put together a little somethin' somethin' for all of you out there that are starting to stress out a little bit about holiday cards ;)

These 30 minute sessions all include a personal online viewing gallery containing each edited image, 50 high-end 100% recycled press printed holiday cards (staying green AND classy up in here), as well as 25% off of all other printed products ordered from this session!!!

Once your session is booked you will be given a link to view your card options. The designs offered are fun and fresh, clean and simple, as well as traditional and timeless. Each card is double sided and is accompanied with envelopes.

These sessions can be booked for dates up to November 30th and a retainer fee of at least half of the session cost ($150) is required to reserve your spot. Print rights to the images from your session can be purchased separately.

xoxo,
Court

My Personal Assistant | North Carolina Lifestyle Photographer

This is gonna be a busy weekend!!!! To start off we're gonna wrap up our final shoot for courtneycourtney this evening with my favorite 8 year old!!! Following this shoot she's gonna be my little assistant for the Daily Reflector's "Scene Around" at the D.H. Conley Baseball and Softball game this evening and then again for the 3rd Annual Greenville Rec Run & Kids Dash early tomorrow morning. My nieces are such helpers that if I even just a little bit mention to one of them the possibility of maybe being able to "assist" me at a shoot they start arguing over who's turn it is. They have learned so much from being able to tag along with me to work and it shows in the photos of themselves as well as the ideas they give me for photos. They are little gorgeous genius'.

I got a phone call from the ginger one yesterday and as soon as she started talking I could tell that she was up to something. She had decided that since we had such a busy evening and morning coming up that it would make more sense for us to have a sleepover ... instead of my driving 5 minutes to pick her up ;)

So, bring it on, weekend, because I have a personal assistant that's gonna help me kick your butt!!!!!

A Birthday Celebration | Life

Today is one of my favorite person's birthdays.

About 14-ish years ago my Dad and I were having a hard time understanding one another (a typical teenage life problem), so, I said, "Adios" to the beach life moved in with my sister, brother-in-law, and their new little lady. I hadn't spent much time with this little person and didn't quite expect her to become such a huge part of my heart. She spent lots of time hanging out in my room and would never question me if I asked her to sneak us oreo cookies and salt and vinegar chips ... she was little and could move around the house less obviously than myself. She was my first "model" when I got into photography while I was in high school. The portrait of her below is one of my first and one of my faves. I have no idea where the negative to this photo is, but scanned the print that I have held onto for all of these years so that if (God forbid) anything happens I will still have this memory to look back on. The expression she has in this photo is so grown-up, but the little specks of glitter on her face make your heart melt.

It's hard to believe that this once little girl is now a young woman. She is an amazing cook, super smart, gorgeous, proud to be from the south, still loves boy bands, way into fashion, loves her ECU Pirates, can put on her make-up way better than I can do mine, adores her friends, and loves her little sisters. I am so proud to be her Aunt and wish her all the best on her 15th birthday :)

XOXOXOXOXO

Sutton's One Year Session : North Carolina Family Photographer

Well, a year has come and almost gone since this little lady graced us with her appearance!!!!!! Sut has grown so much and is surprising her parents daily! She's just recently taken her first 7 steps solo, is talking up a storm (her own language, of course), blowing kisses, high fiving, and waving "hello" and "adios"!!! She loves her furry sister, Chloe, and want to give her love all of the time. Her daddy is gonna make a little surfer/skater chick while her mama shapes her into quite the fashionista and organic eater :)

Sut, you are one amazing little girl and I am so glad to be a part of your life!!! And thanks for the little love kiss at the end of your session! Love you tons!!!!

XO
